Our Common Types of Sheet Metal Brackets
At RapidDone, we can manufacture different types of bracket. We can create the typical shapes such as L shape, U-shape, Z-shape, we can also create other complicated shapes as long as your design fits within our sheet metal fabrication requirements.
√ L-Bracket
The L-bracket is one of common brackets. We can create customized, strong, high-quality brackets for mounting equipment like outdoor units, shelves, etc., to vertical surfaces.
RapidDone can produce these brackets in different sizes with any material of your choice. Depending on your requirements, we can also fabricate brackets with different bend angles.
√ U-Bracket
The U-bracket has a U-shaped profile formed by two bends on either end of the sheet metal. RapidDone makes sturdy, versatile U-brackets from high-quality materials like stainless steel and aluminum.
We can fabricate them into different sizes to suit any application. We can also fabricate them with different holes, slots, and fasteners for mounting in different positions.
√ Z-Bracket
The Z-bracket has two flanges, just like the U-bracket. However, in the Z-bracket, one of the flanges faces inwards, while the other faces outwards to form a Z-profile. It is very popular among customers looking to mount two offset parallel surfaces. We make them from high-quality materials to ensure they handle the loads they bear without failure.
√ Offset Bracket
At RapidDone, we can fabricate offset brackets for any application. It is a top choice among our customers for mounting and securing different components and machinery on flat surfaces.
You can specify the number of holes for fasteners and other mounting devices.
√ Gusset Bracket
Gusset brackets have a triangular profile. At RapidDone, we can create gusset brackets for supporting or reinforcing any structure. These brackets are made out of high-quality materials to ensure they last throughout their service life.
We can also add them to other brackets, like L or U-brackets, to increase their load-bearing capacity and rigidity.
Material Selection Options
We can create sheet metal brackets out of almost any type of sheet metal material. All you need to do is to order it, and we’ll source it and create your bracket for you,
However, certain materials offer desirable properties like structural strength, workability, cost-effectiveness, good surface finishes, etc. This makes them top choices for creating high-quality sheet metal brackets.
Some of these materials include:
- Aluminum
- Copper
- Brass
- Stainless steel
- Cold rolled steel
- Galvanneal, etc.
Finishing selection options
The surface finish on sheet metal brackets is quite important. It improves the bracket’s surface quality and gives it an added layer of protection that can extend its service life.
Some of the surface finishes we offer at RapidDone include:
- Powder Coating
- Anodizing (Type II & III)
- Passivation
- Bead blasting
- Electroplating (Black, Gold and Silver)
Our Manufacturing Process for Sheet Metal Brackets
The manufacturing process starts at the Cutting Stage. At this stage, we cut the sheet metal into appropriately sized blanks that we can easily form or join to create the brackets.
At RapidDone, we make cuts using highly accurate CNC-controlled laser and water-jet cutters. If the bracket has features like slots, holes, or tabs, we cut, drill or punch them out during this stage.
The next step in this process is the Bending process. Using a machine known as a press brake, we bend the sheet metal blank into the bracket shape required.
After the bending, some parts might need to be joined together or assembled. We can do this using fasteners or a more permanent option like welding.
Once the joining process finishes, they are sent off for surface finishes and other final touches.
The last stage in this process is the inspection process. Here, we check all the products carefully for defects to ensure that they comply with our quality standards.
This way, our customers will only get the best products from our factory. So, please send in your order today, and let’s show you our world-class quality!
